Biography
PT Walkley is a singer-songwriter, and composer for Film & TV. He currently composes
all songs and score for the hit Dreamworks / Netflix series Gabby’s Dollhouse (currently
in its 5th season), and Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues & You (also in season 5). Walkley
has been the go-to composer for series creators Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige
Johnson (Team Umizoomi, Blue’s Clues, Gabby’s) for well over a decade, with the trio
closely collaborating on the character songs and storytelling that help shape the tone
of each series. Next up for PT is Dreamworks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse feature film.
Walkley has long collaborated with actor-writer-director Edward Burns, most recently
Burns’ and Steven Spielberg’s TNT series, Public Morals. Other film projects include
an orchestral score for The Wilde Wedding, starring Glenn Close, John Malkovich,
Patrick Stewart and Minnie Driver, and an indie folk score for producer Bobby Farrelly’s
Lez Bomb, starring Bruce Dern, Cloris Leachman, Kevin Pollack and Steve Guttenberg.
PT has collaborated with Meghan Trainor, Leslie Odom Jr., H.E.R., Sean Lennon, Chris
Jackson, and many others.
As a solo artist, PT Walkley has released a string of critically acclaimed albums, and
has performed at Madison Square Garden, The Hammerstein Ballroom, The Kennedy
Center, and top tier music festivals.
